Alice in Wonderland Decorated Cookies

I've always had a fascination with creating biscuits inspired by the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland. This classic fairy tale has captivated the imaginations of many with its delightfully bizarre aesthetics. While most of us are familiar with Disney's visual adaptation of Alice, the original illustrations by John Tenniel possess a unique charm that holds a special place in my heart.

Within the enchanting world of Alice, you'll find a myriad of intricately woven characters, each with its own peculiar charm. Whether it's the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, or the Queen of Hearts, there's a character for everyone to adore. However, my personal favourite has always been the Caterpillar.

My affinity for this character might be attributed to my first encounter with the renowned artwork of German Modern Artist Sigmar Polke. His work, "Alice in Wonderland," is a captivating fusion of Tenniel's iconic image of the smoking Caterpillar conversing with Alice, layered with elements from a football game and volleyball player, all connected by a mesmerising array of dots.

Inspired by Polke's interpretation, I've crafted my own Alice in Wonderland biscuits. Alice's journey is a blend of adorableness and enchantment, yet it carries a subtle undercurrent of eeriness—making it all the more intriguing to me. I invite you to watch the mesmerising process of decorating these biscuits on my YouTube channel.

Discover the wonder and magic of Alice in Wonderland through my unique biscuit creations, where a touch of enchantment meets the artistry of baking.
